Experience life now, not later

There’s a quote I love by Robert Frost, an American poet, and it goes like this “In Three Words, I Can Sum Up Everything I’ve Learned About Life. It Goes On.” I like it because is so simple and yet it’s the one thing I like to remind myself of at every stage of life.

Life is not going to wait for you, or anyone else for a matter of fact; it’s not going to wait for you to be ready, it’s not going to wait for you to stop having fear, it simply won’t stop keep passing by, but that’s exactly the beauty of it, that our time is limited.

You are going to die someday, that’s a fact; however, you’re probably not thinking about this all too much. If we could really comprehend how close death is, there’d be a lot more people who would choose to live their lives the way they want instead of the way they do. We don’t have time to waste and there are no second chances in life. Why not start doing what you want right now? we should do things that make us happy, things that make us grow, and things that are worth doing.

The best time to live your life is now, life is full of choices and possibilities, and it can be unpredictable. Being alive is not a journey, it is a series of amazing little moments that will pass both quickly and slowly at the same time. A beautiful landscape better enjoyed at a slow pace, an amazing sight more appreciated if you stop to observe, but most importantly… Life is to be lived; not feared for the things that could go wrong. Stop waiting and start living, grab a “one life only” attitude, and go for it.

Waiting forever is not an option, and it is important to reflect upon the quality of time we spend living; it is important to have set goals and live by purpose, rather than saying wow, I wish I could do that one day. To be successful you need to know how important time is, and how precious it really is…
